Kitchen reno
Life gave me a good excuse to remodel the lower part of my kitchen. Living in my house for some time has given me a good sense of how do you fix a sweater so here it is. I really like the sliding doors and that I still have easy access to the area under the sink. Turning the stove to face the other way means that two people can use the kitchen at the same time more easily. I really love my new table saw and I'm a little bit sad that I don't have any more woodworking projects. I used scraps from the new red oak hardwood floor I installed this September to make the countertop. It was a fun and challenging project that turned out great! The flooringFinished!
I got was utility-grade to start with so it had a lot of "character flaws "shall I say. So along the way in this project I have discovered my number one favorite patching medium: finally sifted sawdust mixed with fiberglass resin makes the best filler ever!
