Well, I haven't posted anything in months, but lots has been happening. In mid November I fell off a water fall while hiking and broke my ankle in two places. I now have a plate and two screws holding my fibula and tibia together. I fell into the stream below with an open break, water got into my bones and so I was put on IV antibiotics to prevent an infection. The antibiotics caused an allergic reaction that put me back in the hospital for another week.
So, I haven't been able to make any progress on my house, except for advancing the solar work by helping to produce a Solarize Athens program for the town I am living in. Alternative Energy Southeast, the solar installer chosen to do all the work the program generates, has come out to my rig and done the homework.
I am a day or two away from putting the papers in the mail to settle with the insurance company of the lady who hit me last May while I was biking. I hope that the settlement will be enough to cover the medical bills from that near death experience, and get my house finished. In the meantime, while I am laid up sorry and can't do much I am contemplating my Ikigai: my reason for being.
