Hi! I am sorry that I haven't been posting much lately.... or working much on the trailer. I am just doing small things, finishing the exterior, and working six jobs to save the $10,000 I need for the solar system and the cabinets. But in the mean time, here are a few images of work done day before yesterday. I will be able to get back to work on everything after I get the generator back. I was given some gas by a couple who were moving to Oregon, and I put it in my genny, but it was old gas, and me not knowing that gas can go bad I left it in the tank for a week or two, and it clogged the carburetor... which is being cleaned... so once the power is back I will get back up there and install the ridge cap, finish the metal work on the nose, the wheel wells and install the exterior lights.
I bought 8 pieces ridge cap on clearance, but it is the wrong colorSo I painted it silverBondo ready to be sanded and then ready for the fiber glass and paint.
spar varnish.... the color of the cedar is so richThe over-seerer
Ken Ogletree, Tom Senkus and I salvaged these brackets from an old metal door in an empty factory, which I will use later to make the hinges for the bathroom door.
Bathroom door made from cherry and oak, built by Brent of Normaltown Woodworks, Stained glass by Brandon Shultz. I am finishing it with tung oil, and will post some pictures after that, once the color of the wood starts to really shine!
